📜 RULES OF THE ARCADE

1. Entry roll. Submitting rolls a random number between 1 and 50. That is your starting score, and your score is your rank.
2. Climbing costs the gap. To pass someone, pay their score − your score + 1. You land exactly one point above them.
3. Sabotage is legal. Pay $N to knock N points off anyone. $1 = 1 point, $5 minimum.
4. Nothing is safe. The person you passed can pay to pass you right back. Forever.
5. All payments are final. You are buying points — not a rank, and not time at a rank.

Get passed one second after you pay? That is the game. Your points are delivered the instant your payment clears, and they are yours. Somebody outspending you a moment later does not undo that — it is the whole point of a ladder anyone can climb. So there are no refunds for losing your spot.
